‘Prophet of Mercy’ Translated into Russian
It is a collection of remarks by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei about Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
They cover different periods in the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) life, from birth to Bi’that (appointment to prophethood), his life in Mecca and Medina and his establishment of the Islamic civilization.
It also includes two letters by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution to the youth in the West and to Western statesmen.
Ismail Gibadullin has translated the book into the Russian language. Gibadullin had previously translated a book titled “Language of Quran” into Russian.
It has been published by the Sadra Publications in Russia with support from the Ibn Sina Islamic Culture Research Foundation and the cooperation of the Islamic Revolution Cultural Research Institute’s international department.
The original Persian version of the book was published by the Islamic Revolution Cultural Research Institute’s international department last year.
Islam is the second most widely professed religion in Russia. Muslims make up some 15 percent of the country’s population.
